Privacy Policy
Thank you for choosing Ezyon Tech Bulk Search Opener. At Ezyon Tech, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information the extension does and does not handle, and how we protect it.
In short: your search queries and browsing activity never leave your browser. The only information the extension ever sends over the internet is your Pro license key (and a random device ID) to verify a paid subscription — nothing else.
1. Permissions We Use
The extension requests only the minimum permissions needed to work:
- Storage — used to save your own preferences (chosen search engine, search type, tab delay, and theme), your daily free-usage counter, and your Pro license activation status. All of this is stored locally on your device and is never uploaded.
- Access to our license server (
bulk-search-opener-license.vercel.app) — used only to activate, re-check, or deactivate a paid Pro license key. The extension does not access, read, or modify any other website.
2. Information We Collect
For free use, we collect no information at all. If you choose to purchase and activate the optional Pro plan, the extension transmits only:
- Your Pro license key (provided to you after purchase), and
- A randomly generated device identifier (not linked to your name, email, or any personal detail).
These are sent to our license-verification server and to our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, for the sole purpose of confirming that your license is valid and active.
3. What We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect your search queries — they are used only locally, to open tabs in your own browser.
- We do not collect or track your browsing history or the pages you visit.
- We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or location.
- We do not use advertising, profiling, or behavioral tracking of any kind.
4. Pro Subscription & Payments
The optional Pro plan is billed through our secure third-party payment provider, Lemon Squeezy. All payment is processed on their checkout page.
- We never receive, see, or store your payment details (card numbers, billing information, etc.).
- Your license key and device identifier are used only to verify and manage your subscription — never for advertising or any unrelated purpose.
5. How We Use Information
The limited information described above is used exclusively to:
- Verify that a Pro license is genuine and currently active, and
- Enforce the "one license = one device" activation limit.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for their own purposes. The only external party involved is Lemon Squeezy, and only to the extent necessary to validate your license and process your subscription.
7. Data Retention
Your preferences and usage counter remain on your own device and can be cleared at any time by removing the extension. License records are retained by our payment provider for as long as your subscription is active, in line with their own policy.
8. Children's Privacy
This extension is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Data on Uninstall
- Uninstalling the extension opens a short feedback page on our website. The extension itself sends nothing — no identifier, no usage data, no version, and no query text.
- The feedback form is entirely optional and asks for no personal information.
- Form submissions are processed by Netlify, our website host, which — like any web host — records standard request data such as your IP address.
- Any answers you choose to give are used only to improve the product.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes take effect as soon as the revised version is posted on this page, with an updated "Last updated" date above.
